September 2009 Rider(s) of the Month-Joe & Kim Welsh

Joe & Kim Welsh
Years on a Harley: 11/2 years on
a Harley, last bike prior to the
Harley was when I still had hair
(translated...a long time ago!)
Our Most Memorable
Ride: That is tough. It seems the
more we ride the more fun emories that we have. I think the riders
in our group make the fun
times. Everyone that rides shares
the love of riding. What makes our
group so specials is the members
and the friendships created.
Most Embarrassing Moment: Well, so far the only time I have dropped the bike we were
alone. Give me time, it is going to happen.
Why do we ride: Seeing new places and meeting new people, and besides we eat at some great
places. It is all about the food!
What song gets us in the riding mood: What else...CHROME by Trace Adkins
What you want HOG members to know about you: We work hard when it is time to
work, so we play hard in our spare time. We like discovering and doing new things together
We both love travelling, scuba diving, etc. If we could find a way to carry scuba cylinders
on the bike, we would do it.
Name one thing you would like the Chapter to do for the good of the Chapter: Keep
doing what they are doing. The members and the support we get from the dealership are what
makes this Chapter work so well. I would like to see maybe one or two runs planned for a whole
weekend trip.
